– control and exchange signals (to control our motors and to exchange signals with a higher-level control system) – PLC cabinet (CAB3 in our EPLAN Project) – we work with Siemens S7-1500 PLC – power distribution (in our EPLAN project some motors (fans) and a general device that needs 400VAC power supply) – typically more than one electrical cabinet (that’s why we work with 3 cabinets in our EPLAN project for our exercise) Typical industrial automation systems consist of many different segments.
